Industrial Online Turbidity Sensor for Water Treatment

Intelligent turbidity sensor, using RS485 communication interface and standard Modbus protocol, with cleaning brush. Use infrared LED with wavelength of 860nm as light source, unaffected by water color,90° scattering method is adopted, comply with ISO 7027 international standards and USEPA 180.1 environmental standards for the United States. Included with data analysis software,with calibration, recording, analysis, diagnosis and other functions. The electrode has the advantages of self-cleaning, maintenance-free, anti-interference ability.

Turbidity is the index to measure the amount of suspended particulate matter in the medium against light. Suspended particles produce scattering in different directions for incident light, where 90 ° scattered light is less affected by particle size and is often used for turbidity measurements. The light source emits 860nm infrared light, the intensity of the scattered light is detected in the 90 ° direction, the transmitter calculates the turbidity according to the detected scattered light intensity.
